Sheriff Gary Raney joined the Ada County Sheriff’s Office in Boise, Idaho, during 1983 and advanced through the ranks until he was elected and then sworn in as the Ada County Sheriff in 2005. Sheriff Raney is now responsible for the largest law enforcement agency in the State of Idaho with well over 600 employees.  

 Sheriff Raney is very active in the community and sits on the Board of Directors for several local and regional organizations, including being the Board Chair for the United Way of Treasure Valley and board positions in the Idaho Sheriffs’ Association, the Ada County Drug and Mental Health Court, the Intermountain West Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory, the Junior League of Boise and others. Sheriff Raney was also appointed by the Governor to both the Idaho Peace Officers Standards & Training Council and the Idaho Criminal Justice Commission to help set state policy on the top criminal justice issues in the State. In 2010, the United States Attorney General appointed Sheriff Raney to the Advisory Board of the National Institute of Corrections.

 In his free time, Gary enjoys spending time in the mountains, riding his touring motorcycle or practicing his hobby of amateur photography.

Jenifer Dellgard is a native Idahoan and grew up in Boise. She graduated from Borah High School in 1988 and the University of Idaho in 1992 with a B.S. in Communications. Jenifer began her banking career in 1992 as a management trainee. She joined Bank of the Cascades in Boise as Vice President of Marketing in July, 2005. Prior to joining Bank of the Cascades, Jenifer served as Vice President, Idaho Marketing Manager, for a large regional bank. At Bank of the Cascades, Jenifer holds the position of Vice President, Talent Resources, and serves as a member of the Idaho leadership team.

Active in the community, Jenifer has served on numerous boards and committees. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Treasure Valley United Way where she is part of the executive committee. She is also on the board of the Saint Alphonsus Foundation and serves as an advisory board member of Life’s Kitchen. In addition, she is actively involved and serves as a committee member for the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees.

Jenifer has been recognized as a leader in the community and at work. She was recognized by the Idaho Business Review in 2005 as one of Idaho’s Accomplished under 40. In 1999, she was recognized by the Women’s & Children’s Alliance as a recipient of the Tribute to Women and Industry award. Jenifer is also a 2000 Leadership Boise graduate. In April of 2009, Jenifer received the Cascade Peak Award of Bank of the Cascades. She was nominated for this award by her peers for work performed above and beyond expectation, exemplary effort on a project, and having a positive impact in the community. In 2009, Jenifer was also recognized by the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council as a Women of Today and Tomorrow. This award recognizes women who have made a difference in the community through volunteerism, public relations, education, the arts, environmentalism and philanthropy across the State of Idaho.

Dellgard and her husband Tim, also a native Idahoan, live in Eagle and have two sons, Max age 12 and Jake age 9.

Landis Rossi is the Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Idaho. Landis has been involved with the United Way of Treasure Valley for five years as a volunteer on the community investment teams, Impact Council and now as Co-Chair of the Vision Councils and Board Member. Previously Landis served three years as Regional Director and as Program Manager for Service Integration at Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. Before that, she served as an Assistant Vice-President at Easter Seals-Goodwill. Throughout her career, Landis has been involved with numerous community and not-for-profit organizations, with a focus on poor and low income families in Idaho as well as child welfare issues. Landis has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Boise State University.

Jack Myers is Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of Blue Cross of Idaho where he has worked since 1999.  Jack has 25 years of healthcare financial management experience.  Prior to joining BCI, Jack served as CFO for Kaiser/Group Health and Vice President and Controller for Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, Washington.  His Seattle experience included 16 years of financial management responsibility of integrated managed care health plans.  He started his career with the New York office of Deloitte and Touche.  Jack is a Certified Public Accountant and received his undergraduate degree from LycomingCollege in Pennsylvania.  He has also been awarded an MBA from FordhamUniversity.  Jack has served on the Boards of several organizations including CornishCollege of the Arts, Group Health Credit Union and Kaiser/Group Health Foundation in Seattle, and Boise Contemporary Theater. Jack is in his fourth year as a member of United Way of Treasure Valley’s Board of Directors.  He joined the Impact Council in order to get more involved with the agencies supported by United Way.

Jennifer Reynolds is a Regional District Manager for U.S. Bank for the Western Idaho Region. In this current position she is responsible for the West Boise/Nampa district which includes eight of U.S. Bank’s local branches. Previous to this recent position, Jennifer has held numerous positions within U.S. Bank, beginning her career in 1990 as a teller. Jennifer is on the advisory board for the Boys and Girls club in Canyon County and served on various non profit committees throughout Canyon County. Jennifer has been involved in United Way for four years, serving on the Education Review Team, the Income Review Team and the Impact Council. In addition, Jennifer is active in the U.S. Bank employee contribution drive. She was a 2009 Tribute To Women and Industry (TWIN) honoree. Jennifer enjoys volunteering, reading, vacationing and spending time with her children at various sporting events.

Jeffrey S. Taylor is the System Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for St. Luke’s Health System. Jeff began his career with St. Luke’s in 1994 as the Director of Finance. Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Jeff was a Senior Manager in the Boise office of Deloitte & Touche from 1989 – 1994. Before that he was with Ernst & Whinney in the Boise and Portland offices from 1982 – 1989. Jeff is responsible for the overall financial management of the organization and related business development activities. Jeff’s day to day responsibilities include leadership and oversight in the functional areas of Revenue Cycle, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Treasury and Health Information Management and Payor Contracting. Jeff has a B.A. in accounting and finance from Albertson College of Idaho and is a certified public accountant. Jeff is married and has a son and two daughters. When he’s not working he enjoys playing golf and hunting.

Susan Gibson is Vice President of Mission and Human Resources at Saint Alphonsus. She is responsible for Missions Services, Organizational Development, Chaplaincy, Ethics, Government Relations, Community Benefit, Hospitality, School Nursing Parish Nursing, Human Resources, EAP, and Organizational Learning. Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has experience as a staff nurse at medical facilities in Texas and California. She earned her Master of Arts in Theology from University of Notre Dame; a Masters in Business Administration from Centenary College in Shreveport and Ethics Institute Level II from the St. Louis University Center for Health Care Ethics. She is currently completing a Doctoral Degree in Leadership Studies. She received the WCA TWIN Award in 2003. Susan has served on the Board of Directors for United Way since 2006 and is also a Board Co-Chair for the Born Learning Initiative.

Mike Jung was named President and Publisher of the Idaho Statesman in August 2011. Prior to joining the Statesman, Jung was at the Santa Cruz Sentinel, where he was the Publisher.

Jung’s newspaper career includes stints with Knight Ridder in California (Long Beach Press-Telegram, Akron Beacon Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times), Gannett (FLORIDA TODAY in Melbourne, FL) and Media News (Santa Cruz, CA).

Jung graduated from San Jose State University and is married to Gretchen Buesing-Jung, a kindergarten teacher in San Jose. They have three children, two boys in college and a daughter who is a senior in high school.

He is on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Treasure Valley and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival Board.

He enjoys the outdoors, running, hiking, skiing and golf.

Ed Schultz has lived in Boise for over 30 years and is a manager for CH2M Hill. Ed married a Boise native and is a BSU graduate in Accounting with 25 years experience in Accounting and Management. Ed has more than six years of volunteer experience with United Way serving on United Way’s Board of Directors, the Community Impact Council now Vision Council and Review Teams. He served as the Chair of the three vision councils. Ed became a United Way volunteer to learn more about the community and its needs, and to help make a difference.

Corey Surber

Corey Surber currently serves as Director of Advocacy & Community Benefit for Saint Alphonsus Health System, and has been with Saint Alphonsus for the past 18 years. Corey is also an adjunct professor in the College of Health Science at Boise State University, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses dealing with health policy and health delivery systems. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from College of Idaho, and a Master of Health Science degree from Boise State University.

Community involvement is a key component of Corey's work, and a high priority in her personal life as well. Corey is a graduate of Leadership Boise, and serves on the boards of United Way of Treasure Valley, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Idaho Voices for Children. She has been appointed by Governor Otter to a second term serving on the Idaho Suicide Prevention Council, and was appointed by Mayor Dave Bieter to serve on the Boise City Housing and Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee. Corey is also chair of the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry General Business Committee.

Tim Trivette is an Employee Benefits Account Executive for Payne Financial Group. Tim specializes in total benefit strategic planning for a variety of clients including fully insured and self funded groups. Tim performs tactical benefit plan analysis as well as client project planning and implementation. Tim has been a committed volunteer with United Way for almost 4 years as a member of United Way’s Board of Directors, as a Loaned Executive and as a 3-time Review Team member. Tim is also a founding member of LEAP – Loaned Executive Alumni Philanthropists. Tim helped form LEAP as a way to stay connected with other former loaned executives, the United Way and the needs of our community.
