Roger Quarles is an Assistant Professor at Boise State University in Education Leadership. The Education Leadership program at Boise State prepares candidates for certification to become school principals.
Prior to moving to BSU in 2011, Roger served as the superintendent of the Caldwell School District from 2005 to 2011. The Caldwell School District is the ninth largest district in Idaho and serves about 6,300 students and more than 800 staff members. He began his professional career in education in 1996 as a secondary teacher in Idaho’s Blaine Country School District. He was the director of the Blaine County Academy of Arts and Sciences from 1996 to 2000 before he accepted the high school principal position in the Kuna School District where he served until his move to Caldwell. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Chico, and Masters of Education and Education Specialists degrees from the University of Idaho. He earned his Ph.D. Educational Leadership through the University of Idaho. Roger Quarles believes that every child can learn if a district provides a quality environment and great teachers. Roger serves on several boards throughout the Treasure Valley and enjoys tennis, golf and the beautiful outdoors in Idaho.

| Greg Alexander |
|
Greg Alexander is the Principal at Sacajawea Elementary in Caldwell. He had recently accepted a position with the State of Idaho Education as System Improvement and Turnaround Leadership Coordinator. As Sacajawea Principal, Greg has had the privilege of leading an incredible staff to be a Distinguished School in 2009, amid the difficulties of a diverse population. Sacajawea was recognized as a Distinguished School for it's improvement in Hispanic reading. Education gaps in sub populations have been eliminated by the great work of the teachers and attitude they have in doing "whatever it takes". Prior to Sacajawea, Greg was the assistant principal at Jefferson Junior High and its transition to a middle school. He served as assistant principal at Cole Valley Christian School for 4 years. he began his professional career at Les Bois Junior High in Boise as a mathematics teacher. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Mathematics and Secondary Education from Boise State University and Masters in Administration degree from University of Idaho. He is an ultimate Boise State Broncos fan as he played football for the program. Greg believes that in Sacajawea's pledge for every child in Idaho - "With these hands, with this heart, with this mind, I can do anything!" Greg is married with three children and enjoys road trips, camping, skiing, and of course, BSU Football!

| melissa bandy |
| Melissa Bandy has been in the early childhood field for over 14 years and is an Early Childhood Specialist for the Region X (Oregon, Idaho, Alaska and Washington) Early Head Start and Head Start Programs. Prior, Melissa was the Idaho STARS Project Director for the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (Idaho AEYC) and the University of Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD). Melissa also taught at Boise State University as an adjunct faculty member in the Early Childhood Studies Department, and was Idaho's Training and Technical Assistance Specialist for Head Start and Early Head Start for the National Organization, ZERO TO THREE. In Melissa's work experiences with young children, she has taught infants throughout seven year olds in various teaching positions. She has also conducted multiple support and training opportunities for families with young children. Melissa has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Boise State University and is a current board member for the Idaho Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. Her area of interest is early childhood mental health and early brain research. |

Living in the Treasure since she was a year old, Theresa is a true native Idahoan and resides in Meridian. She is married with two amazing adult children and has two wonderful grand-daughters. Everyone in the family enjoys what Idaho has to offer and understands the need to give back to their local communities.
Theresa’s career started right out of high school when she went to work for Morrison-Knudsen where she held various positions in her 10 years of service. After leaving M-K Theresa started another career with Intermountain Gas, she has been with IGC for almost 22 years now and loves her job. She also just graduated from Phoenix University with an Associate’s Degree in Business. Theresa has been involved with United Way for the past 30 years. In the past 6 years she started volunteering with United Way in several capacities such as through D.I.R.T. (Direct Impact Response Team), the Loaned Executive Program and more recently has volunteered for the Vision Council-Education Review. At least 17 of her 22 years with Intermountain Gas she has been involved with her internal United Way Campaign to help raise funds for the community. She is also very active in the community. She volunteers in many activities such as the Food Banks Hunger Bowl, Rake Up Boise, Paint the Town, Junior Achievement’s mentoring program with elementary school students, and Beta Sigma Phi which is an international woman’s social, cultural and service organization. Theresa loves volunteering and not only making a difference in the community but also in the lives of others. |

| Michelle Damon |

Michelle Damon is a supply chain professional at the J.R. Simplot Company’s Food Division. She has a Bachelor’s in Business from Washington State University and a Master’s in Organization Development from Central Washington University. Michelle has been in the Boise area for almost ten years now and has volunteered with several local organizations . She has been involved with the United Way of Treasure Valley since 2009 when she was a Loaned Executive. Michelle values education and hopes to help others in our community. Michelle has a son and a daughter and enjoys outdoor recreation such as skiing and hiking.

| Bill Khoury |
|
William Khoury is the Vice President and Branch Manager of U.S. Bank. He's been with U.S. Bank for 16 years in various positions. Bill also spent 6 years with First Interstate bank before that. He has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Santa Clara University. He has served on a couple of different boards locally (Life's Kitchen, American Institute of Banking). Bill served as a Loaned Executive for United Way of Treasure Valley in 2009-2010.

Heather Kimmett is the Community Relations Manager for KeyBank in Idaho. In this position, Heather oversees KeyBank’s community support activities, charitable contributions and KeyBank Foundation grants in Idaho. When she talks about her work, Heather Kimmett’s passion for Idaho comes out.
“This is such a great state to live in,” says Heather. “Spending my entire life in Idaho, I have seen firsthand the role our business community plays in strengthening our communities and our state. I am one of the lucky people whose job it is to help make that difference in the community every day. And, I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with some of the most respected people in the Boise community and learn from them.”
Heather first joined the bank in 1998, working in many different positions with KeyBank. She initially interacted with customers across the country as a Client Services Representative at KeyBank’s Boise Loan Services operation.
A native of Gooding, Heather and her family now reside in Boise. She is active in her community. Heather is a member of the Boise Contributions Managers group, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Salvation Army and was recently a Loaned Executive for the United Way of Treasure Valley. There are also numerous other volunteer activities.“What gives me the most satisfaction professionally is coming home every day and seeing my son. When I see his face, it reminds me why I’ve focused my career on community relations. I want him to grow up and live in the best state in the country." |

| Cristianne Lane |
| Cristianne Lane is the Director of Professional Development at Lee Pesky Learning Center, a non-profit specializing in providing solutions for people who think and learn differently. With over twenty years of experience in the field of education, Cristianne provides instructional guidance, support, and training to school districts, organizations, and educators across the state. She is also the manager of the Idaho Early Literacy Project, a trainer for IdahoSTARS, and a trainer for the Idaho Math Initiative. In addition, Cristianne serves on community committees dedicated to improving the quality of education in Idaho, has developed curricular materials for various organizations, and is a board member for the Idaho Division for Learning Disabilities. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oregon State University and a Master’s degree in Literacy from Washington State University. Recently, Cristianne helped revise the IRI handbook for the State Department of Education and co-authored Every Child Ready to Math. |

| Ben Moore |
| Ben Moore is a Relationship Banking Officer for Bank of the Cascades. Ben has served clients at Bank of the Cascades for nearly four years in various capacities. Ben was first introduced to the United Way team when his wife Lauren was a Loaned Executive, and he formally served as a Loaned Executive himself in 2009. He has continued to be involved through United Way’s LEAP – Loaned Executive Alumni Philanthropists group, and is currently in his first year with the Education Vision Council. Ben has been a ‘Big’ in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and has volunteered for other community events such as the Rake Up Boise, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training and as a youth soccer coach. He and his wife Lauren, enjoy the outdoors, golf, skiing, soccer and spending time with their two year old son, Luke. |

| Anne Newton has been a Treasure Valley resident for over 25 years. During that time, she has worked as a marketing professional in the financial service and food manufacturing industries. She is currently a Product Manager with the J.R. Simplot Company’s Food Division. Anne has been an active board member for local nonprofits, including the YWCA, KBSU Community Advisory Board, and as Board Member and Board Chairman for DisAbility Rights Idaho. Anne is a graduate of the Boise Chamber of Commerce “Leadership Boise” program, and a 2001 WCA TWIN Honoree. |

Marilyn Shuler is a community volunteer. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and a Masters in Public Administration from Boise State University. She served as the director of the Idaho Human Rights Commission from 1978 until her retirement in 1998. A widow, she was married to John Shuler, a social worker who specialized in youth rehabilitation. She and her husband were foster parents for many years and she served on the advisory board of the Boise Casey Family Program.
She was part of the YWCA non-tuition kindergarten program for low- income children and served as a volunteer teacher for three years. She was elected to the Boise School board in 1970 and served as president from 1974-76. She was appointed to the board of the Boise Redevelopment Agency and worked on rebuilding downtown Boise. She served for ten years as one of five board members on the Idaho Public Employees Retirement System (PERSI). She was president of the board of the Idaho Human Rights Education Center when the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial was built and has volunteered as a guardian ad litem for the Fourth Judicial Court and as a board member for the Boise Family YMCA, the Boise Schools Education Foundation, Idaho Kids Count, the Martin Peace Institute at the U. of I. and the Boise Committee on Foreign Relations. She has been active on the advisory board of the Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning at BSU. She currently serves on the advisory board of Idaho Public TV and is on the board of the City Club of Boise. She has two sons and five grandchildren who are good looking and above average. |

| Tim Trivette |

Tim Trivette is an Employee Benefits Account Executive for Payne Financial Group. Tim specializes in total benefit strategic planning for a variety of clients including fully insured and self-funded groups. Tim performs tactical benefit plan analysis as well as client project planning and implementation. Tim has been a committed volunteer with United Way for almost 4 years as a member of United Way’s Board of Directors, as a Loaned Executive and as a 3-time Review Team member. Tim is also a founding member of LEAP – Loaned Executive Alumni Philanthropists. Tim helped form LEAP as a way to stay connected with other former loaned executives, the United Way and the needs of our community.

| Dennis Trumble |

Dennis Trumble is a Boise native and community volunteer. He spent more than 40 years in the electric utility industry. He held a variety of leadership positions with Idaho Power in locations from Ontario to Salmon, including an assignment at the company's corporate offices directing the Customer Solutions group.
He managed the company's Capital Region from 1996 until he retired in 2010, a geographic area that includes Ada, Elmore, and southern Boise Counties. Denny holds a BA degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University, and earned his MBA from Boise State in 2005.
Denny has been involved in a number of civic and service organizations throughout his career, including several Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, and Optimists. His first experience with United Way of Treasure Valley was as a Loaned Executive during fall, 2010, and served a second term as a Loaned Executive the following year.
Denny is a member of Loaned Executive Alumni Philanthropists (LEAP), the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Boise Alumni Association, and several other community organizations. He enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and rafting fabulous Idaho rivers. He is a proud parent of two children and grandparent of five.
