| corey surber - health chair |
Corey Surber currently serves as Director of Advocacy & Community Benefit for Saint Alphonsus Health System, and has been with Saint Alphonsus for the past 18 years. Corey is also an adjunct professor in the College of Health Science at Boise State University, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses dealing with health policy and health delivery systems. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from College of Idaho, and a Master of Health Science degree from Boise State University.
Community involvement is a key component of Corey's work, and a high priority in her personal life as well. Corey is a graduate of Leadership Boise, and serves on the boards of United Way of Treasure Valley, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Idaho Voices for Children. She has been appointed by Governor Otter to a second term serving on the Idaho Suicide Prevention Council, and was appointed by Mayor Dave Bieter to serve on the Boise City Housing and Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee. Corey is also chair of the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry General Business Committee. |

| tom aronson |

Thomas Aronson, LCSW has served at St. Luke’s Health System since 2003 as the director of social work, spiritual care and language services. He is also an active member of the hospital’s ethics committee. He has been a social worker in a variety of settings for almost forty years. His career began in Wisconsin where he worked in agencies serving children and families. With master’s degrees in both social work and business, he has been CEO of two family service organizations, and was previously vice president of community services for a health care network. In Boise, he spent several years on United Way’s Impact Council. He has served on the mayor’s detox task force, and is currently a member of the professional advisory committee for Allumbaugh House. In his spare time Tom is a Tester/observer for Therapy Dogs Inc. He and his dog Emma visit patients at St. Luke’s Health System in Boise.

| David Bishop |
|
David Bishop currently serves as Director of Practice Management for the heart and lung service line for St. Luke’s Boise and Meridian. He has been with St. Luke’s for the past 17 years in a variety of roles both inpatient and outpatient. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, along with a Master of Health Science degree from Boise State University. David has been involved in the community for several years including volunteering on United Way committees, serving as a Boy Scouts of America Volunteer, participating in the Rotary Club of Boise, and serving on several committees for the St. Luke’s Health Foundation. David is married and has a son and two daughters. In his spare, time he enjoys fishing, white water rafting, restoring classic cars, and spending time with his family.

| Pat Burton |
| Pat Burton is the Director of Operations for St. Luke's Eagle Medical Plaza. She has worked for St. Luke's for over 19 years. Pat was the Director of Emergency Department at the Boise campus. She led the department through their electronic record implementation and design and move to the new department. In 2008, Pat transferred to St. Luke's Eagle medical Plaza where she is the Director of Operations. Her responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations of the facility. Pat received her nursing degree from Columbia University. She has worked with the EMS community to improve pre-hospital care and currently serves on the EMS Advisory Board. pat has been a supporter of United Way for many years and chaired the St. Luke's Treasure Valley campaign this year. Pat has two daughters that keep her very busy with their sports activities and a great husband. In her spare time she loves to camp, ski and knit. |

| Paula Coulter |
|
Paula Coulter is the Director of Oncology Services for the Saint Alphonsus Health System. Paula's responsibilities include strategic planning, business development and operations oversight for medical and radiation oncology programs in the Saint Alphonsus Health System (Boise to Baker City, OR).
Paula has an MBA and background in Medical Clinic Administration. She joined Saint Alphonsus in September 2002. Community activities have included Leadership Caldwell, Member of Board of Directors for West Valley Medical Center, and chairman of several community fund raising events.

Russell Duke is the Director for Central District Health Department covering the counties of Ada, Boise, Elmore and Valley. The district includes urban, rural and frontier populations with approximately 430,000 residents. Prior to working for Central District, Russ worked for the State Division of Health for 12 years in various capacities including managing the Bureau of Environmental Health and Safety and the Bureau of Clinical and Preventive Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science from Texas A & M University.

| Susan Gibson is Vice President of Mission and Human Resources at Saint Alphonsus. She is responsible for Missions Services, Organizational Development, Chaplaincy, Ethics, Government Relations, Community Benefit, Hospitality, School Nursing Parish Nursing, Human Resources, EAP, and Organizational Learning. Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has experience as a staff nurse at medical facilities in Texas and California. She earned her Master of Arts in Theology from University of Notre Dame; a Masters in Business Administration from Centenary College in Shreveport and Ethics Institute Level II from the St. Louis University Center for Health Care Ethics. She is currently completing a Doctoral Degree in Leadership Studies. She received the WCA TWIN Award in 2003. Susan has served on the Board of Directors for United Way since 2006 and is also a Board Co-Chair for the Born Learning Initiative. |

| Jay Lugo |
|
Jay Lugo is the Executive Director of the Idaho Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation and the Idaho Lion's Eye Bank. He has been in this role for 17 years. Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Eye Bank Association of America in Washington D.C and is co-chairman for "Yes Idaho" the organ and tissue donor registry for the State of Idaho. He is a current participant of Leadership Boise.
Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix. He oversees the day-to-day operation of the Idaho Lion's Eye Bank, Eyeglass recycling and the Lions Diabetes Awareness Program. As a Lion Club member and Executive Director, he is committed to restoring sight, sound and health locally, nationally and globally through carefully targeted marketing, fund raising, and grant writing strategies along with advocacy towards organizational partners.

| Ginger McCabe |
| Ginger McCabe currently serves as the Practice Administrator for Saint Alphonsus Medical Group - Heart Care, a 16 provider multi-specialty cardiology practice. Ginger has been in the practice administrator role for six years, four of those in cardiology. Prior to this she worked in the health insurance industry for 12 years. In 1999, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Boise State University, followed by her Masters of Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University in 2004. Ginger has been a volunteer with United Way for over 15 years and enjoys working within the community. |

| betty sims |
| Betty Sims is a community volunteer. She received a BA in Psychology from Whitman College and an MA in Counseling from the College of Idaho. She retired after 14 years at Micron Technology, initially as its first affirmative action officer, followed by developing and managing its first company-wide training program, and finishing with development of a K-12 program, involving students and teachers in preparation for the workplace. Prior professional positions included investigator/mediator with the Idaho Human Rights Commission, social worker, stock portfolio analyst, and recreation specialist for US Army in Germany. In early retirement, Betty helped plan the first annual Governor’s Roundtable for Families and Children. She served as a tutor and board member at the Learning Lab and as an initial board member of Anser Charter School. Current volunteer time is with United Way and The Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning. She and her husband Bob have lived in Boise for 40 years and have three children and nine grandchildren. |

| Scott Talcott works for AP Wireless Infrastructure Partners as the Vice President Europe. His responsibilities include establishing operations and strategic partnerships in multiple European countries to execute investments in the wireless sector. Prior to AP Wireless Infrastructure Partners, he worked as a banker for Wells Fargo in Boise. He also owned a video game publishing company. Mr. Talcott also served as a Vice President at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and an Associate Vice President with Dresdner Bank's Project Finance Group in Frankfurt. Living in Boise with his wife and three children, Scott enjoys coaching and getting outdoors. Scott also serves on the board of Kickstand. |

| Kendra Witt-Doyle works with the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University, her Master in Public Health from University of Texas School of Public Health, and her Doctoral Degree from University of Texas El Paso. She is actively involved in developing and evaluating public health programs. Specifically, she has coordinated and evaluated programs in areas such as child health, physical activity and nutrition, tobacco cessation and prevention, and high-risk behaviors. Through her work and personal life, she is involved with community health initiatives and coalitions. She currently serves on the Executive Committees for the Be Outside, Idaho initiative, Action for Healthy Kids- Idaho, and Tobacco Free Idaho Alliance. As an Idaho native, she is passionate about improving health in Idaho. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, rafting, and cooking healthy recipes. |
