Grant Information

United Way of Treasure Valley is accepting Letters of Intent from nonprofit organizations beginning Jan. 8, 2018, through noon on Jan. 19, 2018.

Program Grants are distributed to organizations with programs that fit the goals of United Way of Treasure Valley in the areas of education, health, and financial independence. Grant recipients must provide annual outcomes and demonstrate measurable results on indicators that have been identified by United Way’s 2017 Community Assessment.

In addition, you will be required to submit your most recent IRS Form 990 and independent financial audit or financial review depending on your organizations annual revenues. Must have been completed in the last 18 months. For organizations with annual revenues over $250,000, an independent financial audit is required. If annual revenues are $250,000 or below, an independent financial review will be accepted. All Letters of Intent and financial documents must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Letters of Intent are reviewed by our Vision Council volunteers who determine which programs will be invited to apply for an Annual Program Grant. Please see the Program Grant process timeline below for more details.
