SW District Youth Crisis Prevention & Intervention Planning program
The Respite Nursery Program is the first of its kind in Idaho. Southwest District Health has partnered with the Western Idaho Community Crisis Center (WIDCCC) to offer respite nursery services for youth ages 0 -12 while their parent or guardian receives crisis support services at WIDCCC. Both the Respite Nursery Program and WIDCCC are offered at no cost to the family and will have services available 24/7/365. Through this collaboration, families will experience increased cohesiveness, coping skills, and resiliency as a result of adults accessing crisis services and youth being cared for in a safe and trusted setting.
