United Way to begin accepting letters of intent for 2017 Program Grant funding

BOISE, Idaho — United Way of Treasure Valley will begin accepting letters of intent on Monday, Jan. 9, through Friday, Jan. 20, at noon, from 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations seeking 2017 Program Grant funding.
The letter of intent application, as well as funding goals and more details are available at 
United Way of Treasure Valley distributes Program Grants to organizations with programs that align with United Way’s goals in education, health and financial stability. Grant recipients must provide annual outcomes and demonstrate measurable results on indicators that have been identified by United Way’s Community Impact Plan.
Nonprofit organizations that are interested in applying for Program Grants are required to submit their most recent IRS Form 990 and independent financial audit or financial review, depending on the organization's annual revenues.
In 2016, United Way of Treasure Valley awarded 30 Program Grants to more than 20 nonprofit organizations in the Treasure Valley, totaling nearly $1 million. To view the list of last year’s grant recipients, visit
