United Way of Treasure Valley’s mission is to mobilize the caring power of our community to advance the education, health, and financial stability of every person. Children’s Book Drive (Book Collection) – April 1 – 17, 2023 - DONE!

This event allows thousands of community members, corporate partners, and volunteers to support United Way’s efforts to promote literacy by collecting and distributing books for low-income children throughout the Treasure Valley. Engage your workplace, school, or place of worship by collecting new and very gently used children's books. Find a drop-off location and additional event information here.

State of the Treasure Valley – August 3, 2023 4–6pm

An engaging and informative evening as we discuss the newest data highlighting the current socioeconomic state of the Treasure Valley and how we are mobilizing the caring power of our community to support sustainable, long-term solutions. This will be a special opportunity to rally our entire community to meet basic needs right here in the Treasure Valley. Space is limited, RSVPs will be required for this event.

Campaign Leader Training – August 16, 2023 9:30am-Noon OR August 17, 2023 8:30am-11am

Calling all workplace campaign leaders!

Hundreds of leaders from local companies come together to support United Way’s work by learning how to get their employees engaged through charitable giving and volunteerism. RSVPs will be required for this event.

Holiday Helper – November 8 – 9, 2023

This fun event brings together professionals, families, and friends to build care packages filled with food, hygiene items, and other basic necessities for low-income children & children experiencing homelessness in the Treasure Valley.
