Talk to us about being on the Campaign Cabinet. What motivated you to want to get involved?
I have been a long-time supporter of the United Way through my workplace campaigns. After co-chairing our 2021 workplace campaign I was excited to have the chance to do more.
There are so many ways to give back and be involved with charitable organizations. Why do you choose United Way of Treasure Valley?
I believe in the United Way’s data-driven approach to addressing the needs of the community and the fact that the funds raised stay in the Treasure Valley.
Tell us a little about your role with your organization and what you do. If you’re retired, tell us about your work history.
I have been with Boise Cascade since 2005 and currently lead a talented team with responsibilities including SEC reporting, tax, finance systems, and accounts payable.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to spend time in Idaho’s mountains with friends and family, watch Boise State athletics, and follow local, national, and world current events.
