What brought you to United Way?
I have close friends that have been involved with United Way of Treasure Valley for a number of years. The people of United Way and the causes they support kept me coming back.
How long and in what capacity have you been involved?
I believe my first event was a United Way book drive and book sorting event a number of years ago. From that point, I jumped into any Holiday Helper, Mix and Mingle, and special pop-up projects UWTV needed volunteer support on.
What are you most passionate about when it comes to the work United Way does?
The hygiene kit distribution and basic needs pantry is very special. These initiatives make such a huge and far reaching impact, simultaneously reminding us of the essential items we can so easily take for granted.
Tell us more about you! Family, hobbies, interests, etc.
I have one very special daughter, a wickedly talented and handsome husband, and one Labrador. In our free time we spend as much time as possible outdoors; hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, playing in the water, and spending time with treasured friends and family.
