Meet Savannah Lewis, UWTV Donor Engagement Manager

Savannah LewisHow long have you been with UWTV?

I joined the United Way Treasure Valley (UWTV) team in April 2023. My previous employment experience includes community development for Idaho Job Corps, coordinating the Guardian Scholars program at a community college, and other jobs in the field of Social Work. I am excited to be at United Way of Treasure Valley and to help improve our community in my new role!

What are you most passionate about when comes to the work of UWTV?

UWTV is a group of change agents who are continuously improving the capacity to support the health, education, and financial security of our neighbors. I'm proud to be part of the team and in my role, I get to partner with passionate people who are dedicated to making the Treasure Valley a desirable and sustainable place for individuals to thrive. It's my mission to identify the needs of our community, organize intervention strategies, and highlight the work of the people making a difference for so many.

Tell us more about you! Family, hobbies, and interests.

I was born and raised in Idaho, have lived and worked all over the world, and now I am bringing my experience back to the community that helped me develop into the person I am today. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and my master's degree in Macro Social Work from the University of Southern California (Fight On!).

I reside in Boise with my partner and our two cats. In my leisure time, I enjoy the budding wine trail in the Treasure Valley, exploring the diverse dining scene, attending community events, hosting themed parties, and playing fantasy football. I also dedicate time to the non-profit organization I co-founded, Mile Marker Home, which prevents homelessness for individuals who have experience in the foster care system.
