Thank you, Community School Coordinators!

Community School CoordinatorCommunity School Coordinators are pivotal to the success of Community Schools. With 41 Community School Coordinators across Idaho, a growing number of school communities are supported by these strong community advocates who create, strengthen, and maintain the bridge between the school and the community. Community School Coordinators promote collaborative processes essential to the Community School Strategy. Through collaboration, they develop a continuum of services for children, families, and community members ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

In recognition of the transformational work made possible by Community School Coordinators, Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield issued a proclamation alongside partners of the Idaho Coalition for Community Schools recognizing September 17 – 23 as Coordinator Appreciation Week.
