Donor Spotlight - Jenny Snell!

Today we'd like to shine a light on one of our sweet, loyal donors, Jenny.

Last year, when we were in need of sleeping bags for Treasure Valley homeless kids, Jenny stepped up to the plate to purchase several. She lives in Utah but didn't let that stop her! She sent our staff enough money for 3 sleeping bags and off-a-shopping we went! She really helped us fill a need in a pinch and we know her contribution meant the world to some local homeless kiddos.

This year, when one of our staff members mentioned our upcoming book drive on social media, once again, Jenny answered the call and sent us the very first official book of this year's 6th Annual United Way Children's Book Drive! We reached out to Jenny to ask why she loves supporting United Way of Treasure Valley so much and here's what she had to say...

"My name is Jenny Snell. I currently reside in Logan, UT. The reason I decide to continually donate to United Way of Treasure Valley is because I grew up there and many of the community outreach efforts that the United Way undertakes involves teenagers and children. I hear about the different projects United Way of Treasure Valley is doing through my friend's facebook page, and I am passionate about helping to better the lives of people, specifically individuals who fall into these categories. I am happy to be able to donate to this great organization and will continue to do so in the future."

If you care about kids like Jenny does and you want to do something to help, you can make a donation to our Community Fund here! Please donate today.
