Meet Christa Rowland, Director of Community Impact for UWTV!

How long have you been with our organization?

5 years in July!

What are you most passionate about when it comes to the work UWTV does?

Uniting. I think we’re always better when we work together, and that’s why the work we do speaks so much to me. It’s about uniting our community and working together to make this a great place to live for ALL individuals and families.

Tell us more about you! Family, hobbies, interests, etc.

My husband and I have both lived in Idaho for over 25 years. We love it here, and love raising our kids here. We have a daughter who is three, and a baby boy who is 9 months. Our kiddos keep us busy! My favorite hobby is music – I am a trained violinist, and enjoy making racket with my voice and the banjo and mandolin. I love to ski in the winter and waterski/wakeboard in the summer. I’m an avid reader, and lifelong learner. I love working at the United Way, every day I get to wake up and help others, it’s simply the best.
