Meet Ericka Rupp, UWTV Board Chairwoman!

What brought you to United Way?
When I first moved to Boise I volunteered with United Way, before joining the Financial Stability Vision Council.

How long have you been involved with United Way and in what capacity/capacities?
I have been involved 11 years. First in vision councils, then joining the board and now I'm Board Chair.

What are you most passionate about when it comes to the work UWTV does?
I am most passionate about our community schools/impact work! Prevention, prevention, prevention…all the way.

Tell us more about you! Family, hobbies, interests, etc.
I am an Idaho native. Proud Vandal. I have two beautiful ‘bonus daughters’, a great husband and two dogs that I love most of the time. We are a skiing family and as the wise Ed Schultz says  “I’m a social butterfly trapped in a COVID bottle”, so this summer you will find me with all my friends and enjoying as many patios and happy hours as I can possibly get to, as I miss seeing people and being out in the community. My favorite thing about Sundays are having family dinner with all our extended family!
