Providing coaching and mentorship for roughly 30 volunteer Guardians ad Litem (GAL) in their Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program. Those volunteers provide a high quality and quantity of advocacy for approximately 75 child victims of abuse.

Advocate Coordinating Team
In cases under the Child Protection Act, a judge appoints the 3rd District Guardian ad Litem to the child’s case. As appointed officers of the court, they become an official part of the judicial proceedings. They are the only participant in these cases whose sole mandate it is to advocate for the child(ren)’s best interest.
