Third District Guardian Ad litem Program
In cases under the Child Protection Act, a judge appoints the 3rd District Guardian ad Litem to the child’s case. As appointed officers of the court, they become an official part of the judicial proceedings. They are the only participant in these cases whose sole mandate it is to advocate for the child(ren)’s best interest.
