The Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline, by Jannus, Inc. needs volunteer Crisis Phone & Text Responders for all shifts, especially evenings and weekends.
The ISPH team trains volunteers — laypersons or professionals in the greater Boise area — to become crisis phone workers. The next training course begins May 2, and completes May 27th. Orientation & screening sessions, tours and listening shifts for prospective volunteers are ongoing in April. ISPH provides excellent training, experience and supervision.

The City of Caldwell in partnership with the Caldwell School District and United Way of Treasure Valley was recently awarded a technical assistance grant through the National League of Cities (Youth, Education and Families Council).
The grant invites mayors and community leaders to participate in a Mayors’ Institute to be held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on May 2-4, 2017. The Institute seeks to address factors that influence health outcomes where residents live, learn, work, and play through the Community Schools Strategy program.
Twedt is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Boise Cascade. She is also active in the community as Board President of Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity. She graduated from the College of Idaho and University of Idaho College of Law. Twedt and her husband, Josh Sears, live in Eagle with their two daughters and two golden retrievers.
Sheriff Stephen Bartlett
Bartlett has been a part of the Ada County Sheriff’s Office since 2003 and took over as sheriff in 2015. Bartlett and his wife Amanda live in Meridian. They have two children, David and Annika.
Josh is a pharmacist and community advocate. He previously served as the Idaho Regional Vice President and a part of the Executive Management Group for PacificSource Health Plans. He has over a decade of health plan experience in the areas of pharmacy, medical management and Medicaid program administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Pharmacy from Oregon State University and Oregon Health & Science University.
Wes is the senior vice president and regional director of Zions Bank’s Idaho Real Estate Banking Group. Wes has more than 16 years of experience in real estate and commercial banking. Wes is active in the community as treasurer and executive board member of the Urban Land Institute-Idaho Chapter and as a board member of the Downtown Boise Association. Wes and his wife, Joanna, live in Boise with their two daughters.

Sue is SVP Global Solutions at the J. R. Simplot Company. Richardson joined Simplot in 2008 as director of communications. Before joining Simplot, she served in a variety of leadership positions related to strategy, marketing and communications at Hewlett-Packard in Boise.

Ericka is a program manager at Idaho Health and Welfare. She also has worked at Catholic Charities of Idaho in Boise and Community Action Partnership in Lewiston. At the University of Idaho, she earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in family and consumer sciences.
